Spring Semester is finally over! I had a couple large papers/projects due and Chris had two finals. He and Emily studied O-Chem together, hopefully she'll retain all of that information for when she is in school. :) After Chris' final, we headed to Lovell. On Saturday my neighbor was baptized. I was amazed at how in tune with the spirit this little girl was. She sang "Beautiful for Him". Everyone was in tears, including Abby!! Needless to say, that girl understands Heavenly Father's plan for her...
The week was spent relaxing and getting Betsy's baby shower ready. On Thursday we held the shower for Bets and had a blast. Thanks to everyone for coming and making it a great time. Afterwards, the girls, Chris and I decided to do one of the shower games we didn't have time for. It was a race to see who could drink juice out of a baby bottle fastest. Chris tried to bite a hole in it. His efforts were in vain as Betsy and Maren won by a landslide. Betsy's twins are scheduled to arrive on next Monday, but they could come any day now. Life will be very exciting at Grandma's!
Finally, we headed to Lander to watch Susie, Amanda, Cody and Dino at the track meet. Cody won the triple jump with a PR of 41'9", second in the 4x4 relay, and second in the long jump. Dino had some amazing polevault saves and placed there and in long jump. Amanda and Susie of course won their running events and their relay was amazing. I am so grateful that we were able to stay and watch their events. Emily even hung out and she did great. No sunburn for her!
Now we are back in Laramie getting ready for Summer Semester. Chris is taking Physics I and II and I am finally taking Public Speaking and doing my internship. After this summer, I graduate and am finally done!!! Yippie! Stay tuned for fun summer updates!
